Does your school have a Need For Feed?

Diabetes Queensland is on the lookout for Queensland Schools to participate in their fun filled, action packed cooking program Need For Feed.

The program is available for students in years 7 to 10 in public and private schools across Queensland. The evidence-based, innovative, practical, hands on cooking program provides students with the opportunity to master their culinary skills and confidence in the kitchen whilst enhancing their understanding and enjoyment of healthy foods.

Need For Feed programs must be run outside of school hours - after school, in school holidays or on Saturday's and for a total of 16 engaging hours. Each program must consist of 15 to 20 participants and be run by a qualified teacher, school nurse or health professional with the help of an assistant (if required).

Any school in Queensland can participate in the program and you can commence at any time throughout the year. Please contact Diabetes Queensland for further information.
